Structural report of the elementary building of Txingudi School

Project description

The building object of the report is the elementary building of the Txingudi School complex (1974). The building has a structure of reinforced concrete frames and unidirectional slabs of prestressed joists.

It is intended to assess its structural capacity to continue housing its educational use, since it has old pathologies of fissures and cracks apparently due to settlements.

All available information has been studied and has been completed with samples of representative structural elements.

Different modelings of the building has been made to find the dynamics of the settlements and to assess the structural capacity of the structure.

Based on the verifications, the most appropriate intervention strategies has been proposed.
